How to successfully insure your move with Cargocert.com

Part 1: Standard Valuation

Simply select how many bedrooms there are in the home you are moving FROM. The quote form will will use this to compute a baseline valuation based on industry statistics for furniture items $1,000.00 or less in value and non-furniture items $250.00 or less in value.

Part II: High Value Items

Add high value items to the baseline value our system calculated. Enter all furniture & appliance pieces over $1,000 in value and all other items over $250 in value individually. We highly recommend you upload a picture to maximize coverage.

Part III: Shipment Details

Coverage Types

All Risks

Covers goods against all risks of loss that are not specifically excluded. This is the broadest type of insurance and it includes cover for partial damages.

Named Perils - Broad

Covers for losses of whole items / shipping units (not partial damage) for specific named causes of loss. Any type of loss not specifically named is excluded.

Named Perils- Basic

Covers against total losses of entire shipments only for specific named causes of loss. Any type of loss not specifically named is excluded.
